Shark Rocket TruePet Ultra-Light Upright REVIEW

One user of Shark Rocket TruePet Ultra-Light Upright, Larry, says that it has unexpected limitations. The reviewer replaced an earlier vacuum because of the absence of a hose on it and now owns several vacuum hoses that they thought would be attachable to the small hose and ‘micro’ vacuum attachments of Shark Rocket TruePet Ultra-Light Upright. However, regular hoses do not fit this vacuum though the vacuum did a great job on cat hair and empties quite easily. A standard size of nozzle would have been helpful according to them.

A reviewer of Shark Rocket TruePet Ultra-Light Upright, Cristine, says that the long cord and the light on the head of the vacuum are very helpful while cleaning. However, hair and threads congest the brush all the time and the vacuum has to be cleaned at least once per cleaning session. Though it cleans efficiently its head is smaller than expected. One needs to find places to lean it on when not in use though the hang up kit can be used for the closet. The detachable parts attach and detach easily and it is easy to empty.

Another customer of Shark Rocket TruePet Ultra-Light Upright Susi says that they received the order in a day. The suction of the vacuum was a disappointment for them. The vacuum is easy to assemble and has good documentation. However, the kit lacks attachments like flexible brush, flexible extension tube or under appliance attachment. One reviewer Pamela had to return it because it doesn’t stand upright because it’s top-heavy and needs to be laid down on and balanced on something and toppled twice in a week. The suction power was not up to scratch even on hardwood. They add that the vacuum is heavy, at least the canister at the top and their arm tired quickly. The canister capacity is small. However, its slim design makes it more maneuverable and space storage space. The reviewer also feels that given that it is priced exorbitantly, they had better expectations from the vacuum cleaner and for it to at least stand upright, which is a basic requirement.

Shark Rocket Deluxe Pro HV321 REVIEW

A reviewer Barre states that Shark Rocket Deluxe Pro is ideal in terms of size but the suction was just so-so. Hence, it works well on hardwood or vinyl but not on carpet. The brush roller doesn’t hold down to the carpet picking up pet hair needs cleaning an area about 10 times that a regular vacuum can do in two. The dust cup has to be emptied when it’s half full in 10 minutes or less of vacuuming. There cup cover is irremovable and the long cord helps. The weight might be an issue for users who wouldn’t like holding it for too long. It reduced their vacuuming time and prevented frequent loading of the big heavy upright vacuum. It works better than handheld or stick vacuum but wouldn’t work for the house and is over priced by approx $100.

Another user Susan says that Shark Rocket Deluxe Pro did as the ad claimed but there were details left out by the ad. The handle is heavy and awkward, though it picks up well and even reached behind the toilet to pick up dust bunnies. The vacuum does not stand upright on its own and the attachments were not really easy to use. The heavy motor gets cumbersome for elders. There is no replacement filter, so if it damages you need to find a fix. The vacuum works well on floors, but the attachments are average.

One user Elaine bought the vacuum because they needed an upright cleaner with a small footprint for their boat and Shark Rocket Deluxe Pro is detachable and storable in a small space. It is top-heavy so it doesn’t stand up by itself unless taken apart. The bright LED light lets you clean efficiently in a poorly lit room. The crevice tool, upholstery brush, and 2 speeds make it great for carpet to bare floor vacuuming and the suction works well. It detaches easily from the base with just a push of a lever and can reach up high or get around low floors, baseboards or to get into furniture. The dust cup is good-sized and double filters are washable.

Dyson V6 Cordless Vacuum REVIEW

A reviewer of Dyson, Maurice, states that it’s a powerful cleaner with good design. However, its battery is weak and does not give 20 or 15 minutes of runtime as mentioned but only 9 minutes right from day one, making it impossible to do continuous work. Runtime drops down to 7:36 after using it for 2 months and can only clean one room at a time before it needs charging for 3.5 hours. So a different model with chord would be a better option.

Another reviewer Harry writes that Dyson cannot be a primary cleaner and is expensive. It is powerful and collects a lot fine dust and the cordless and bagless design make it handy. But the absence of an ON/OFF is a limitation, because one constantly needs to hold the ‘trigger’ while vacuuming, which can get tedious. Also all its weight is at the top and unevenly distributed making it awkward to use and heavier in the hand. They add that the design also doesn’t allow it to stand up on its own. So it needs propping up against something or docked into its charging station.

Dalton Trevor, another user, writes that in spite of an impressive functionality and design at $300 the suction and power should be stronger, especially to clean hardwood, tile floors, and large area floor rugs. The beater included is just average too. Dyson failed to pick and even projectiled away the debris on their rug. They had to go over small debris on wood floors twice. The bigger and chunky canister vacuums are better for heavy-duty cleaning. One reviewer Chris says that Dyson is suitable for small apartments, cars or RVs that need light cleaning and not as a main vacuum to clean a house. Cleaning a carpet covered with deodorizing powder was difficult and they had to empty the canister frequently and recharge. It took them almost two days to vacuum but the carpet still had a few white spots. Even though convenient, it’s not much lighter or more maneuverable than corded vacuums. They returned it to buy a Dyson’s corded vacuum.
